MHMHA Celebrates 60 Years — And the Return of U7 Hockey School! 
The Mount Hamilton Minor Hockey Association (MHMHA) is fired up to announce that the 2026–27 season marks our 60th year of delivering unforgettable house league hockey!
To celebrate this huge milestone, we’re bringing back something special…
U7 Hockey School is BACK after a 15-year break!
We’re also excited to team up with Heads Up Sports Academy (HUSA) to run our Sunday sessions. With over 32 years of experience, HUSA brings top-tier instruction and a passion for the game that kids love while following the Canadian Hockey Initiation program's curriculum.
And it gets even better — the full season is just $350.
What to expect:
- 18 weeks of on-ice fun, starting early October (pending City of Hamilton ice allocation)
- Saturdays: Action-packed mix of skills + games
- Sundays at 11:00 AM: High-energy skills sessions focused on fun and development
Spots will go fast — don’t miss out! Register early and get your child on the ice for an amazing season of hockey, development, and fun.

REGISTRATION 2026/2027
House League Registration is now open.
$350 U7 Hockey School (DOB 2020, 2021 and 2022) > Program is 2 times per week for 18 weeks (Saturday between 8AM till 4PM and 11AM Sunday)
$375 U9 Division (DOB 2018 and 2019, * 2020 subject to an evaluation) > Program normally has 1 game and 1 practice per week
$450 U11 Division (DOB 2016 and 2017) > Program normally has 1 game and 1 practice per week
$450 U13 Division (DOB 2014 and 2015) > Program normally has 1 game and 1 practice per week
$525 U15 Division (DOB 2012 and 2013) > Program normally has 4-6 games and 3-4 practices per month
$575 U18 Division (DOB 2009, 2010 and 2011) > Program normally plays 2 games per week with NO practices
MHMHA will be offering once again a session in the fall and winter for our extra skill development for our young players as well as an advance skill program.
For those looking for a little added hockey challenge for their child. MHMHA will be offering, Select hockey in the U9, U11, U13, U15 & U18 divisions. Tryouts normally start towards the end of October. More information on our Blues Select programs will be posted on the notice board in the Arena in late October
